Female Chef | 55m/180ft MY | Support Vessel

This 55m support vessel is seeking a permanent Chef to join their crew. 

Upcoming itinerary: They will be heading to Mexico and then the Caribbean thereafter. This is a dual-season vessel with great perks. The owner takes great care of the crew with gratuities and end-of-ear bonuses.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is young, positive and has a calm demeanour.

Key responsibilities: 

You will be responsible for cooking for the crew and guests. The owner loves hosting dinner parties onboard. They prefer family-style cooking and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. You must be skilled in preparing great meat and seafood dishes. This vessel has a large budget, so you will need to ensure that a wide variety of provisions are always available on board.

Requirements:

  • Female only, due to cabin arrangements.
  • You must hold a valid B1B2 visa, STCW, ENG1 Medical, Food Safety Lvl 3, and Ships Cook.
  • Experience and longevity on a similar-sized vessel.
  • Candidates already based in the US are preferred.
  • South African nationality preferred, but will consider other nationalities with a strong resume.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.

Employment Package:
